We are in studio recording my first holiday album "Ghosts of Christmas Past"!  Working with uber talented Jeff Kossack at Otherhand Recording Studios, the collection will feature new original songs and favorite holiday classics such as Gordon Lightfoot's "Song for A Winter's Night" and John Denver's "Christmas for Cowboys."   This is a "fireside" collection, very acoustic, intimate, and spare in the arrangements with guest players such as Mark Nilan Sr., John Classick, Ed Tree, Jeff Kossack and others…

Hey gang, I'm diving deep into the songwriting well these days in preparation for the next album.   Definitely a "parenthood" theme to much of the new work, I do hope you like my new paper children.  Also preparing to write a children's book based upon "Karl the Koala".........much work underway to study the craft itself but very excited about how this is shaping up.  The muse is with me!

We're absolutely thrilled to announce the arrival of our little boy into the world on December 28th....Jason Sims Christie. He weighed in at 6 lbs, 14 ounces, 19 3/4 inches long, has a great set of lungs and dexterious guitar playing fingers. I'm taking some time for Daddy bonding but will return in the new year for our annual spring date at the Coffee Gallery Backstage in Pasadena.
